Background
Rose has a long-standing connection with Marsden, having attended the school from preschool through Year 13, with brief periods studying in Canada and England during her father’s sabbatical. She held leadership roles as a student, including Head of the Upper School and School Sacristan, leaving her name on two of the school’s leaders’ boards. She returned to Marsden after completing her BA in English and Classical Studies and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching, bringing a wealth of experience from schools in New Zealand and England. Over her career, she has taught students from Year 0 to Year 13 in diverse settings, including city and country schools, decile 1 to 10 schools, and both primary and secondary levels. Rose rejoined Marsden in 2018 and has since taught across Middle and Upper School.
